Red Ribbon Club is a movement started by the Government of India in schools and colleges through which, students will spread awareness over HIV / AIDS. It envisages to instill charity mind among all the students to extend their able help towards developing healthy life styles, donating blood to all the needy by promotion of Regular voluntary blood donation.
Red Ribbon is a globally recognized symbol for HIV/AIDS awareness. Establishment of Red Ribbon Clubs was an important initiative undertaken by the Government of India to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS and associated myths among the youth and empower them as per educators.
The Red Ribbon Club (RCC) of late Ramprasad Dewangan Govt. college Kharora organized a AIDS Awareness programme on10.12.2024 The programme was inaugurated by principal Dr. Shampa Chaubey and she has given Blood donation awareness speech, she also and explained about the benifits of blood donation.
